Everywhere I changed my name in the UK
First I got a name change deed, I did not enroll this. Instead I had my friends sign it digitally. It was free and took around 5 minutes.
- Internet bank accounts
Monzo is super easy to change my name on. I did it in like a minute or 2 minutes.
- Driving license
I sent them my deed and my name changed within 4 weeks (after it came back). I also changed my gender here, they did not ask for proof.
I then used this to update everywhere else super easily.
- Electoral role
This was very easy. They didn't even want proof I changed my name.
Liverpool does have it down as 2 people living at my address, I might need to call them I think? i cant find a phone number for them or email lol. I might literally just walk into their building and ask. It's also near Rudy's so I can get a lil pizza for lunch too
- Credit reporting companies
Soo...
- Clearscore
Delete your account, remake it.
- Transunion

- Experian
fuck knows
When you change your name on the electoral role etc your credit will exist in your new name, so you can most likely just delete ur accounts and remake em.
- Traditional Banks
They just wanted the deed. it was easy.
Barclays wanted drivers license and deed, but they did not care much.
- Employer
My employer literally didn't care at all, they didn't even ask for the deed.
- Social media
Facebook cared and wanted my drivers license so I just deleted my account instead of giving them more personal info
No one else cared lol.
- Energy
Octopus energy is super easy. Self service form. They even have a pronouns section for customers.
- Employer pension
They asked me for a letter from a lawyer. I ghosted them and they never brought it up again and then my name magically changed after like 3 months (Aviva MyMoney)
- Charles Schwab
Didn't care, I just applied under my new name.
- HMRC
SUper easy to do online. Didndt ask for a deed or anything. They are super fucking slow so your name will change in the next idk 10 or 15 years?
- Vanguard Investment Platform
You fill out a form and send a deed and they'll do it
- O2 phone contract
Fill out a form or just apply under a new name like I did
